Pastor David Schick
I began serving as pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church in March 2010. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead this Christian community dedicated to helping people experience the transforming love of Jesus Christ. I have a passion for teaching and preaching, ministry with young people, music, and reaching out in meaningful ways to the surrounding community. Before coming to Immanuel, my wife, Carla, and I spent 5 years as missionaries in the Eastern European country of Slovakia. Because of our years of ministry overseas, we truly enjoy welcoming people from many cultural backgrounds. We have two wonderful adult sons. Both of us are musicians and enjoy performing, composing, and leading music in worship. I also enjoy the outdoors, especially hiking and camping.
Immanuel is a dynamic congregation that welcomes all to come and hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are committed to helping people grow in faith and experience truly accepting Christian community. When you visit, expect to encounter lively worship and music in our services, a large program for children and youth, and exciting activities for all ages.
Come join us on your journey of faith!
