Health Kits for the Homeless: Members of our Social Ministry Committee are collecting items for Health Kits for the homeless in the month of January. Immanuel continues to participate in this ecumenical Alpha Omega Health Kit Project along with eleven other local churches in Los Altos and Mountain View. The much-needed kits are distributed through the Community Services Agency located in Mountain View. This month we will collect items for 20 kits for men, 10 kits for women, 2 for boys and 2 for girls. Our committee will provide baskets in the Fellowship Hall, where you can deposit the following items that are needed. Please note the sizes of the toiletries listed (we cannot use the small hotel-size items for this purpose). Thank you for your support! If you prefer to make a monetary donation for this purpose, please make checks out to Immanuel and write “Alpha Omega” on the Memo line. Please take this list with you when you’re shopping or take one of the flyers at the Social Ministry table in the Fellowship Hall and bring all donations to church by Sunday, January 31, 2010. Thank you so much! Your Social Ministry Committee
