Lutheran Christian Basics - Presentation and Discussion, November 3, 6 p.m.
Pr. David will be leading a number of sessions during the coming months discussing what we believe as Lutheran Christians, the meaning behind our practices, what we have in common and how we differ from other Christian confessions, as well as a basic introduction to the Bible. Opportunity will be provided also to answer particular questions you might have. These sessions are envisioned for: â€˘ People new to our church, who would like to know more about the Lutheran Churchâ€™s faith and practice, â€˘ Long time participants at Immanuel from various church backgrounds, who never experienced confirmation or basic instruction in a Lutheran Congregation, â€˘ Anyone who would enjoy a â€śrefresher courseâ€ť and an opportunity for great discussion on the basics of our beliefs. The next session will be offered on Sunday, November 3, and is tentatively scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
Youth Dinner Theater, November 24, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
The â€śDinner Theaterâ€ť was a blast last year and it is one of the bigger fundraisers for the youth through the year for their mission trips. Your help and support is always appreciated and we look forward to your support again this year. On November 24, the youth â€śDinner Theaterâ€ť will provide you, your family and your friends to a nice evening out and a tasty meal, complete with three courses! The dinner is suitable for people of all ages. In addition we will entertain you with a live, fun and dramatic murder mystery!! Prepare to relax and have a good time.
Asante Network African Bazar

Get a head start on your Christmas shopping by coming to the African Bazaar in the fellowship Hall. Beautifully hand crafted gift items will be sold. All profits and donations go directly back to support womenâ€™s groups in East Africa. Please bring your reusable shopping bags for your purchases.
A new pilates class has begun on Monday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. No need to sign-up/register. Drop-in fee is $5 and it is pay as you go.
"Open Painting and Drawing"
â€śOpen Painting and Drawingâ€ť is a drop-in opportunity that offers a pleasant space to work, tables, plus social and artistic interaction each Thursday morning from 9AM-12Noon. Bring your easel and supplies; no instruction provided. Join fellow artists of all levels and mediums. This is an Immanuel-sponsored activity that is being offered to the community.
